Timber

All our hardwood bifolding doors and sliding doors are manufactured from African, Far Eastern and European hardwoods - always sourced from legitimate sources and wherever possible from sustainable forests. Our timber suppliers have chain of custody certification for both the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Pan European Forest Certification Scheme (PEFC).

We do not buy timber from Indonesia.

Timber is a good environmental choice since it can regenerate and provide an infinite supply for future generations. Wood is recyclable, waste efficient, biodegradable and non-toxic.

When manufacturing we ensure that wastage is kept to a minimum.

Glazing

All our exterior bifolding doors and sliding doors are glazed with 24mm, Argon filled, toughened low 'E' clear glass double glazed units as standard, which comply with the minimum 'U' values required by the latest building regulations 'Part L' for England and Wales, ‘Part J' for Scotland, ‘Part F’ for Northern Ireland and ‘Part ‘L’ for the Republic of Ireland.

28mm and triple glazed units can also be supplied for our bifolding doors and sliding doors if required.
