Security

The pass / access doors on our folding doors are fitted with five-lever mortise sash locks as standard, which meet insurance company demands and the police endorsed secured by design programme.

These locks fully comply with both the European (BS EN 12209) and British (BS 3621:2004) standards and feature a saw resistant bolt with a 20mm throw and drill resistant lock plates.

All the other door panels are secured by internally fitted, flush mounted drop bolts.

When our folding doors are closed there are no externally accessible parts which can be removed, and screw fixings are concealed.

For taller doors we also fit a security aligner. This unique product not only pulls the pivot door onto the frame, but is inaccessible when the doors are closed and is therefore tamper resistant.

Our sliding doors are secured with mortise claw locks, and where appropriate, flush fitted shoot bolts which are fitted into the frame between two moving panels.
