Sliding Doors

Sliding doors are ideal where a large expanse of glass together with a feeling of optimum space is required. We offer both bottom rolling and top hung systems, dependent on the application and the structural specifications.

Our sliding doors can be used either externally or internally. For interior use panels can slide into pockets so that they are out of sight when opened.

Manufactured from quality hardwoods we also offer softwood sliding doors for internal use.

Features

• Made to measure sizes with a maximum panel size of 2.800m high by 2.000m wide.
• Configurations include:
  • One fixed and one sliding panel.
  • Two sliding panels.
  • One fixed and two sliding panels.
  • Three sliding panels.
  • Two fixed and two sliding panels.
• 24mm or 28mm Argon filled low ‘E’ toughened double glazed units fitted all units for external use giving a U value of 1.5. Triple (for smaller panels) and sound proof glazing also available as an option.
• Full weather and ventilation sealing.
• Hardware manufactured from stainless steel.
• Sliding doors are supplied in a number of finishes including:
  • Stained with either Sikkens or Sadolin wood stains.
  • Treated with Dulux Trade Weathershield Naked – giving a totally clear, flat matt finish.
  • Painted to colour of choice including matching to RAL and BS numbers.
